NMITSA Announces IT Excellence Awards Winners
The New Mexico Information Technology and Software Association (NMITSA), the state’s largest advocacy group for IT & software related business, announced today the winners of this year’s IT Excellence Awards. Companies from across New Mexico took part in this year’s competition, which seeks the best and most successful implementation of an IT or software product, across several categories, produced by a New Mexico based company or organization. Solution Awards were presented in six categories: Custom Software, Commercial Software, Integrated Systems, IT Infrastructure, IT Support, and Innovative Research. Awards in Achievement were awarded in four categories.
The second annual IT Excellence Awards was held in Albuquerque on October 19th, 2006 at the Hyatt Regency downtown. The leaders of New Mexico’s information technology community enjoyed a gala evening recognizing and celebrating excellence and technical achievement in the New Mexico IT industry. Senator Jeff Bingaman keynoted the event.
