ABOUT THE ITAA IDENTITY MANAGEMENT PROGRAM:
The Information Technology Association of America (ITAA) provides global public policy, business networking, and national leadership to promote the continued rapid growth of the IT industry. ITAA consists of over 300 corporate members throughout the U.S. In particular, ITAA has taken a tremendous leadership role in the area of identity management and credentialing. ITAA members are responsible for producing the majority of government credentialing and identity management programs at the federal, state, and local levels. Our members include those firms that specialize in the production of state-issued driver's licenses and identification cards; federal, state, and local smart card and identity credentialing programs; biometric device, algorithm, and middleware providers, RF technology, and background checking and identity proofing companies with expertise in all the facets of establishing and maintaining identity.
